`matrix.trace()`

Overview

The function calculates the trace of a matrix (the sum of the main diagonal’s elements).

Syntax

matrix.trace(id) → series float

Parameters

id	matrix<int/float>	A matrix object.

Returns

The trace of the id matrix.
