Review Alerts vs Fills with AI
AI Insights can summarize a completed Alerts vs Fills comparison and propose follow-up checks. It cannot determine execution causality from aggregate metrics or guarantee that a strategy, alert path, or broker setup will behave the same later.
Before opening AI Insights
Section titled “Before opening AI Insights”- Load Alpaca fills and TradingView records for the same bounded window.
- Confirm the source counts, symbol, timezone, and matching settings.
- Configure AI access in Account Settings.
- Confirm the account has AI credits.
What the request contains
Section titled “What the request contains”The generated request includes the current symbol, chart timeframe, date range, time and price matching settings, TradingView source, layout mode, aggregate summary, and bounded samples:
- up to 12 comparison rows;
- up to 8 unmatched Alpaca records; and
- up to 8 unmatched TradingView records.
Because the request is sampled, verify any pattern against the complete grids and raw source records before acting on it.
Generate and review
Section titled “Generate and review”-
Select Analyze with AI after the comparison is loaded. Opening the drawer starts generation when credentials and report context are available.
-
Review the response with the recorded model, token usage, response ID, and any reasoning trail exposed by the drawer.
-
For each proposed explanation, identify the timestamp, alert payload, broker submission, broker fill, or matching setting that would test it.
-
Inspect the complete unmatched grids and chart. A sampled response may omit the record that changes the interpretation.
-
Open Algo Lab only when the evidence points to strategy logic. The handoff saves report context when possible and opens a new chat with the script picker.
If the snapshot cap blocks a new saved report, the app can hand off temporary in-memory context. Treat it as unsaved until a report appears in the snapshot list.
If generation fails
Section titled “If generation fails”- Confirm comparison data still exists after changing the scope or source.
- Read the drawer’s disabled reason or error.
- Check AI configuration and credit balance in Account Settings.
- Narrow the window if a smaller evidence sample answers the same question.
- Continue with the manual metrics workflow if the same error repeats.
