Editor Tab

Basic or Professional

The Editor tab is the Pine strategy workspace inside Algo Lab. Use it to load or create strategy tabs, edit Pine source, stage AI-generated diffs, add webhook payloads, and run the active chart scope.

Use It For

Strategy Source

Keep the active Pine strategy in one place while you run backtests, parameter sweeps, and Case Study comparisons.

AI Patch Review

Review proposed AI or Agent changes as a diff before accepting them into the active tab.

Webhook Setup

Add TradingView alert payloads for Algo Trade Analytics without leaving the strategy file.

Run Handoff

Use the current source, symbol, timeframe, date range, and settings as the next backtest scope.

Practical Notes

  • The editor is intentionally direct: edit code, review diffs, run the strategy.
  • Save important versions into a Case Study before branching aggressively.
  • A staged candidate is not committed until you accept it.
  • A successful editor run is still independent-engine evidence, not TradingView parity.
